Changsha Training Center Moves

February 5, 2010

December 26, 2009 marked the final graduation of LDiTraining’s English Language Center in Changsha after twenty-five years in the city.  While LDi will no longer be present in that city, a legacy remains in the hearts and lives of the many friends and students we have served.

Changsha was the location of LDi’s first work in China.  In 1982, returning from conducting a seminar in the city, LDi trainer Sandy Tsang, was killed in a plane crash.  This accident greatly impacted those who had met her and knew of LDi.  As a result, LDi (then known as Management Technologies International or MTI) was invited to set up a permanent training base in the city.

LDi’s program was unique because of the strong relationships established between the teachers and students.  This ethos will continue in the city of Wuhan where LDi is opening a private English language training center.
